The Home Energy and Solar Equipment 4 hour
The Home Energy and Solar Equipment training provides a basic understanding of home heat loss and the most common home renewal energy system to the Construction Supervisor. This course complements the RRP (Renovation, Repair, and Painting) to fulfill the 12 CE credits required for license renewal.
Topics covered in this program include the basic understanding of how insulation and energy saving doors and windows can save the owner the cost of remodeling. This information can often sell a job or give the contractor a competitive edge over others who fail to understand the value added of energy savings. Also included are the important considerations for insuring a safe roof or ground installation of solar panels and possibly the need to remove and reinstall solar panels when new roofing is done.
This course is only 4 hours and is offered from 8AM to 12PM or 1PM to 5PM or 6PM to 10PM. Please consult the course schedule for dates
